Time Factory Films was created in December, 2006. The company is based in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada and is led by producer Tobi Lampard and filmmaker Brian Stockton. Time Factory Films is focused on feature film production, and point-of-view documentaries.


Brian Stockton has been making innovative independent films for twenty years. He was educated in film at the University of Regina, York University in Toronto and was a director resident at Norman Jewison’s prestigious Canadian Film Centre. During his time at the CFC he created the multi-award winning short comedy, The Weight of the World, which screened at festivals around the world and on the Sci-Fi Channel in the United States. He’s had solo screenings of his short films in Canada and the USA, and his work has been collected by The National Archives of Canada, and the Toronto International Film Festival Film Circuit. Television has also played a part in Stockton’s career, most notably as a writer/director for the critically acclaimed comedy series Internet Slutts (2000), which aired on The Comedy Network. His current short film project is called The Epic Story of My Life, the first three of which are the acclaimed autobiographical films The Saskatchewan Trilogy. His newest short film is called Whitmore Park, which aired recently on CBC television.


Tobi Lampard is a talented filmmaker and producer. Her first production after graduating from film school, Remember in Between the Forget, won the top prize at the Saskatchewan Showcase awards. After relocating to Toronto, Lampard created an innovative company called Kidnetic Animation, which taught wonders of home-made animation to children in Toronto. She also garnered considerable production experience in Toronto, producing several corporate documentaries for national clients like the Canadian Youth Business Foundation and Women in Motion. As a member of the team at Toronto company Media Headquarters, she was associate producer on Douglas Coupland’s highly acclaimed feature documentary Souvenir of Canada, the computer-animated family special The Great Canadian Polar Bear Adventure, and many others. In 2006 she returned to Regina as a development executive for Partners in Motion. While at Partners she has overseen the creation of several television series and documentaries.


Producer Tobi Lampard and director Brian Stockton recently completed the critically acclaimed Saskatchewan Trilogy, three humourous short films about growing up on the prairies. All three parts of the trilogy received their world premieres at the Toronto International Film Festival and went on to screen at festivals around the world and on CBC Television.
